Jack and Mommy met Sam and Leslie for lunch today, and we will fill you in on that in a minute. But first, those of you that read this blog know about Mommy. Now, I am going to tell you about Leslie, so can you can see for yourself how eerie the similarities are.
- Lauren and Leslie were both born in 1980, at Presbyterian Hospital.
- We grew up in south Mecklenburg county.
- We both have names that begin with L.
- We both married guys that have names that begin with J, and they both go by three-letter nicknames.
- We both have little boys, that were born 5 days apart.
- We both have BRAIN TUMORS!
- Because we have brain tumors, around the same places in our heads, we both have side effects on the right side of our bodies.
Mommy could list the various said side effects, but she won't at the moment. She will just tell you what an exceptional person Leslie is, and what an inspiration she has been to her. She is sorry that someone else has had t0 go through this horrific ordeal, but she is grateful to know that she is not alone.
There will be another meeting of the DFS next week, so there will be better pictures of Jack and Sam - even though pictures don't do them justice. Sam is just too cute, and Jack was so glad to see him in person. The boys will be excited about next week's meeting place - a park!

A friend of Leslie's here, stopping by to check out your blog. Can't wait to hear about more meetings (and lots more adorable pics of the boys) of the DFS!
I am so glad that you and Leslie have each other and that Jack and Sam do too! I look forward to hearing about more meetings.
Love,
Bibi
You girls are both fabulous. I am so happy that you finally got to meet each other in person (the boys, too)! We need to tip off Tommy T that the DFS will begin having weekly meetings!
