Jack was determined to help Papa today. He watched him drill, he put the screwdriver in screws (he must have seen this before, because Mommy could not believe her eyes when he didn't randomly place the tool into the wood!!!!), and held the C clamp in place for him.
Jack even made sure the structure met the fire code.
But, boy was Jack disappointed when he found out what he helped Papa put up - a gate to block the staircase.

WOW! I was amazed about Jack's amazing ability with a screwdriver. That is really, really smart. I agree with Mimi - he is obviously a genius.
I've been telling you that I think that Jack will be like Papa,fixing things and seeing how things work. Lucky Jack!
