Jack's Journal
While Jack was at preschool this morning, Mommy was cleaning his room. She happened to stumble upon his journal! She thought she would share his words with you, and ease the craving you've had, to see what has been going on in his world during the week:
Dearest Journal,
I haven't had much time to scribble in you, so let me give you a brief update. On Monday, I got to spend the day with Bibi and her friend, Louise. I had lots of fun playing with my new toys at her house, and we even went out to lunch. It was pretty obvious to me that I enjoyed my day more than Mommy because she was in an awful mood when she came back to get me. Daddy had taken her to visit these people that wear white coats, and I guess she wasn't nuts about what they had to say.
On Tuesday, Mommy perked up and I had a great day at preschool! Then, things turned sour on Wednesday. I woke up feeling terrible, so since I can't speak a lot yet, I screamed. And screamed. And screamed some more. Mommy didn't know what to do, and neither did I. I just knew I had this excruciating pain in my ears, and it only seemed to go away when I slept. I took two naps, hoping that would help. Mom finally realized I was hurting, so she took me to see someone in a white coat, too. I didn't like being there, but afterwards Mommy gave me some delicious pink stuff. I've been feeling better ever since.
Gotta go, Mom's come to get me out of my bed!
Love,
Jack

I hope that because you went to preschool today that means that you were feeling better! Hugs and Kisses!
Jack,
I'm so sorry that you aren't feeling well. Louise and I had a great time with you on Monday! We had so much fun that I forgot to take pictures. Maybe next time you come the Children's Museum will be open. Love you, Bibi
Oh, Jack. I'm sorry you aren't feeling well! I am also sorry your Mommy did not have a very good time when she went to visit the men in white coats. Here's hoping that both of you are on the up and up soon!
