Christmas in U.C.

On Christmas Eve, Jack began his tour at Mimi and Papa's House. He could have made us a wonderful meal with his new kitchen, a great gift from Aunt Lindsey, but everyone told him to relax. The cooking had already been done, and it was delicious!
"How about dessert? I really want to try out the oven."
Thank goodness Mimi and Papa gave Jack a chair of his very own for Christmas - it even has his name on it! He can be laid back, and now, be in style, too.
When Jack wasn't cooking or reclining, he was playing with his new racetrack, also from Mimi and Papa. He loves anything with wheels, so this was a hit right away (he could hardly wait for us to get it out of the box!)

Christmas Eve was just as it should be: a chance to gather with family, eat good food, and remember the reason we celebrate this joyous holiday. No, we didn't read the Christmas Story, but maybe next year we can act it out. The parts are as follows: Jack as baby Jesus, Mommy as Mary, Daddy as Joseph, Aunt Lindsey as the Angel, Mimi as the Midwife (an updated version), Grandma as the Innkeeper, Papa, Uncle Will, and Uncle T-Bird as the Three Wisemen, and Bridget and Bailey as the farm animals.

It looks like Jack loves Aunt Lindsey's present! I can't wait to taste his specialities. I love the chair, too - how adorable!

How cute...Christmas in Union County! Next year Jack can help me make a dessert, because the catered food was definitely a hit with everyone. I had time to relax and enjoy the festivities! We will have to act out the Nativity with your unusual cast of characters. No kidding, Christmas Eve was wonderful and I am looking forward to many more.

Looks like Jack had an outstanding Christmas! Sam got the same racetrack, too! It is one of his favorites.

I love, love, love that kitchen! Can Sam can over to play with that?
