Jack and the Nebulizer

Jack has been under the weather this week. After Daddy's urging this weekend, Mommy took Jack to the doctor on Monday. It turns out he has a chest cold and a double ear infection. The poor little guy has been doing breathing treatments on the nebulizer (a gift from Mimi - Uncle Will had terrible juvenile asthma, and they had kept the machine).

Anyway, the treatments have been touch and go. Yesterday, Jack did a commendable job holding it to his mouth (see pics above). However, he was none to pleased with it this morning.

Despite his illness, Jack has carried on with life as a he normally would (he felt the worst yesterday, and we will just erase that day from our memory). In fact, the current broken ornament count is 4.5 (a missing wheel is not a total loss).

Yep, Jack is on the road to recovery. He went to preschool today, and Mommy was just a little concerned when the teacher told her that he didn't eat any of his lunch. But the concern dissolved when the teacher told her that he had a good day, and, "He ate two mini cupcakes during our Christmas party!" His sweet tooth is bigger than any of his others.

Are we still on for Charlotte At Play tomorrow? I hope so because I can't wait to meet you and Jack :)

I'm with you Jack - I'd always rather eat dessert than the actual meal! Hope you feel better!

There is nothing wrong with a sweet-tooth! I'm sure Grandad and Great-Granddy Deere would agree with me.

Oops - I was commenting early in the morning before my shower, and apparently I cannot spell "Grandaddy." Excuse my error!
