Mommy forgot her camera, but let her just tell you: Jack had the time of his life last night! His Daddy, and Mommy, took him to see Carolina vs. McNeese State. Jack's face lit up as he took in the sights: players on the field, the band, the cheerleaders and the mascot. He cheered, clapped, and ate lots of treats. Then, the game was temporarily delayed for rain. By about 8:30 pm or so, we decided to go home.
So, Jack's first introduction to live football wasn't very long, but it was very exciting. He cannot wait to go back!
(note: Mommy will try to post a picture of Jack in his super cute football jersey. Who would dare to buy him Tar Heel attire?????)

I have to note that while the UNC Tarheels were the lucky recipients of Jack's first football memories, the NC State Wolfpack hosted Jack for his first football stadium tour complete with a full scrimmage (Spring 2007 Red/White game; I do have pictures to prove it!). No one can get annoyed by my gloating, however, because I did purchase the aforementioned football jersey for Saturday's game...
I cannot believe you would claim purchase of the jersey, I was going to leave you anonymous!!
And to clear up any confusion, Jack's first football game was actually in winter of 2004 at a Carolina Panthers game (he just happpened to be in the dark during it all, due to the fact that he was in my belly - he sure did love the nachos though!)
GO HEELS, Jack. I'm just glad that he is lucky enough to be exposed to so many different events.
