No really, today, Jack and Mommy met Sam and Leslie at Charlotte at Play. But this meeting also had two special honorary members - Lily and her Mommy, Lora! We were very glad they could attend, and hope to see them at future meetings!
The museum has different areas for the tikes to play in. Here you can put on a puppet show. But who needs puppets when you can see a show about Jack?
"Wilderness Campground" was really made to look like...well...a campground. Jack enjoyed going "bye, bye" in the tepee, for all of five seconds.
Jack could not get enough of the stage with instruments! He played the piano, guitars, and drums, multiple times. He is quite the performer.
The band wrapped up their first practice with a snack. They were hungry, and probably a little sleepy, from all the fun they had. Jack can't wait to go back!

I'm so glad we finally got to meet in person! Jack is SO cute and Lily loved flirting with him. I promise to get pics up from today's trip soon! Sorry we had to run, Lily was very soggy after the "Apple Juice Incident of 2006".
Oh, and do you mind if I link you on "Lily's friends" list on my page?
Lauren, I loved your post! I have showed it to Joe about a thousand times! I wish I had been clever enough to think of our three being in a band. I think it's a fantastic idea to put on a fundraiser for the DFS. We are going to need some funds now that our society is expanding!
We especially like the first band picture. Jack is such an enthusiatic drummer; Sam looks like the piano player from Charlie Brown; Lily is the lead singer!
Whoops - that should be "enthusiastic." Sorry!
I can't wait to give Jack two of his Christmas presents. They will be great for the band!
